Brother Kevin Brower from the Interdisciplinary Studies Department explains what makes the Interdisciplinary Studies different from other majors. Students in this major are expected to have a very specific goal for after college that needs more than just one major to prepare them fro it. There is an application process to get accepted into the major and it takes time to tailor a major to each student, so students should expect to work with faculty to get the education they need.
